EFFECT OF MINIMUM QUANTITY LUBRICATION ON SURFACE ROUGHNESS IN TOOL-BASED MICROMILLING
Cutting fluid plays an important role in machining processes to achieve dimensional accuracy in reducing tool wear and improving the tool life. Conventional flood cooling method in machining processes is not cost effective and consumption of huge amount ...

Black holes from multiplets of scalar fields in 2+1- and 3+1-dimensions
We obtain classes of black hole solutions constructed from multiplets of scalar fields in 2+1 / 3+1 dimensions. The multi-component scalars don't undergo a symmetry breaking so that only the isotropic modulus is effective.

A methodology for the lightweight design of modern transfer machine tools [PDF]
This paper deals with a modern design approach via finite elements in the definition of the main structural elements (rotary table and working unit) of an innovative family of transfer machine tools. Using the concepts of green design and manufacture, as

Virtual chemical reactions for drug design [PDF]
Two methods for the fast, fragment-based combinatorial molecule assembly were developed. The software COLIBREE® (Combinatorial Library Breeding) generates candidate structures from scratch, based on stochastic optimization [1].

Supersymmetric particle mass measurement with invariant mass correlations
The kinematic end-point technique for measuring the masses of supersymmetric particles in R-Parity conserving models at hadron colliders is re-examined with a focus on exploiting additional constraints arising from correlations in invariant mass ...

This study experimentally evaluates the performance of eco‐friendly vegetable‐based cutting fluids—coconut, sunflower, and palm oils—during turning of AISI 304 stainless steel under minimum quantity lubrication. Palm oil exhibited superior lubrication and cooling characteristics, yielding the lowest cutting force, temperature, and surface roughness ...

Multidimensional Quadrilateral Lattices are Integrable
The notion of multidimensional quadrilateral lattice is introduced. It is shown that such a lattice is characterized by a system of integrable discrete nonlinear equations. Different useful formulations of the system are given. The geometric construction

ABSTRACT Atmospheric deposition of organic pollutants plays a crucial role in the transport and fate of contaminants in the environment, with implications for ecosystem health and human exposure. Persistent organic pollutants (POPs), polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) and microplastics are increasingly recognized as transboundary threats due to ...
