Parallel sets of autoantibodies in MRL-lpr/lpr mice. An anti-DNA, anti-SmRNP, anti-gp70 network. [PDF]
The public idiotype Id-H130 occurs in MRL-lpr/lpr serum both on a high proportion of anti-DNA autoantibodies as well as on antibodies that do not bind to DNA. To define members of the latter population, we prepared hybridomas and selected Id-H130+ mAbs that did not bind to DNA. One such antibody, mAb 28/12, was found to be an anti-SmRNP antibody.

Intratumour heterogeneity complicates precision management of advanced endometrial cancer. Circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) offers a minimally invasive strategy to capture tumor evolution and therapeutic resistance. Here, we compare tumor‐agnostic NGS with tumor‐informed ddPCR, outlining their relative sensitivity, concordance, and clinical implications ...

Setting of import tolerances, modification of existing maximum residue levels and evaluation of confirmatory data following the Article 12 MRL review for flupyradifurone and DFA [PDF]
Abstract In accordance with Article 6 of Regulation (EC) No 396/2005, the applicants Bayer CropScience AG and Bayer SAS submitted two requests to the competent national authority in the Netherlands to set import tolerances and to modify existing EU maximum residue levels (MRLs) for the active substance flupyradifurone and its metabolite difluoroacetic ...

The repair and regeneration of brain tissue faces both biological and technical challenges. Injectable bioscaffolds offer new opportunities to stimulate tissue regrowth in the brain by recruiting neural stem cells. Here, the translational issues are reviewed that need to be address to advance this promising new therapeutic approach from the bench to ...

Pesticide MRLs as Trade Barriers: Evidence From Vietnam's Coffee and Rice Exporters
ABSTRACT As tariffs have declined globally through bilateral and regional trade agreements, food safety standards have emerged as significant determinants of agricultural trade flows. This study examines the impact of maximum residue limits (MRLs) for five pesticides—Azoxystrobin, Chlorpyrifos, Chlorantraniliprole, Clothianidin, and Cyhalothrin—on ...

ABSTRACT Hypomethylating agents (HMA) and allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (alloHSCT) have both demonstrated remissions in VEXAS; however, comparative data is lacking. We conducted a multicenter, retrospective analysis of 66 patients diagnosed with VEXAS syndrome treated with HMA (n = 35) or alloHSCT (n = 31). Baseline characteristics
