In accordance with Article 43 of Regulation (EC) No 396/2005, the European Commission requested EFSA to perform a follow-up evaluation of saflufenacil with regard to the MRLs adopted recently by Codex Alimentarius Commission and the possible consumer health concerns regarding the metabolite trifluoroacetic acid (TFA).
