AbstractMurphy Roths Large mice (MRL) exhibit improved tendon healing and are often described as a “super-healer” strain. The underlying mechanisms that drive the superior healing response of MRL remain a controversial subject. We utilized a tendon transplantation model between MRL and “normal-healer” B6-mice to differentiate between the contribution ...

Pesticide regulations and their malpractice implications on food and environment safety
Although pesticides have a positive effect on plant health in terms of insect pests and diseases control, increased productivity and improved crop storage, their malpractice impacts on food safety negatively.

Targeted review of maximum residue levels (MRLs) for dicofol
In accordance with Article 43 of Regulation (EC) 396/2005, EFSA received a request from the European Commission to review the existing maximum residue levels (MRLs) for the non‐approved active substance dicofol in view of the possible lowering of the MRL.

Focussed assessment of certain existing MRLs of concern for Spinosad
In compliance with Article 43 of Regulation (EC) No 396/2005, the EFSA received from the European Commission a mandate to provide its reasoned opinion on the existing maximum residue levels (MRLs) for spinosad which might lead to consumers intake ...

Taste aversion learning in autoimmune MRL-lpr/lpr and Mrl +/+ mice
Conditioned taste aversion to a neutral stimulus paired with an immunosuppressive drug (cyclophosphamide) was assessed in lupus-prone MRL-lpr/lpr and congenic control (MRL +/+) mice. The presence of lymphoproliferation in MRL-lpr/lpr mice was associated with poorer taste aversion learning and varied as a function of the dose of cyclophosphamide.

MRL: Learning to Mix with Attention and Convolutions
In this paper, we present a new neural architectural block for the vision domain, named Mixing Regionally and Locally (MRL), developed with the aim of effectively and efficiently mixing the provided input features. We bifurcate the input feature mixing task as mixing at a regional and local scale. To achieve an efficient mix, we exploit the domain-wide

Water‐Mediated Phosphoryl Wires Stabilize Pathological Tau Fibrils
Extended 1D phosphoryl “wires” stabilize in‐register amyloid tau fibrils, as demonstrated by multiple‐quantum spin‐counting NMR, TEM, and MD simulations, using fibrils of tau peptide jR2R3‐P301L (tau295–313) with phosphorylation at S305 or Y310. ABSTRACT Hyperphosphorylation of tau is a hallmark of tauopathies, with specific phosphorylation sites ...
