S1 Guideline on Infected Interdigital Intertrigo (also called Gram‐Negative Toe Web Infection)

open access: yesJDDG: Journal der Deutschen Dermatologischen Gesellschaft, Volume 24, Issue 6, Page 832-843, June 2026.

The competitive interplay of 12‐oxophytodienoic acid (OPDA), protein thiols, and glutathione

open access: yesThe FEBS Journal, Volume 293, Issue 12, Page 3683-3705, June 2026.
12‐Oxophytodienoic acid (OPDA) is a phytohormone involved in plant growth and stress defense. Due to its cyclopentenone moiety, OPDA can form Michael adducts with thiol‐containing compounds such as glutathione and cysteine residues of proteins, resulting in alterations of the cellular redox regulatory network.

Data‐driven cluster analysis of adults with prediabetes: Findings from the Japan diabetes prevention study

open access: yesJournal of Diabetes Investigation, Volume 17, Issue 6, Page 961-969, June 2026.
Unsupervised clustering of 295 Japanese adults with impaired glucose tolerance identified three distinct prediabetes subtypes based on HbA1c, HOMA‐β, HOMA‐IR, and HDL‐cholesterol. These subtypes showed different risks of developing type 2 diabetes and varied responses to lifestyle intervention over 6 years.

Cadaveric Evidence on Diameters and Cheilion Distances of the Facial Artery and Its Major Branches: A Systematic Review and Meta‐Analysis

open access: yesJournal of Cosmetic Dermatology, Volume 25, Issue 6, June 2026.
ABSTRACT Background The facial artery (FA), as the main blood supply of the face, exhibits substantial anatomical variations. This study is the first systematic review and meta‐analysis of cadaveric studies examining the FA and its main branches' prevalence, diameters, and lateral distances to the cheilion, addressing existing controversies.
