Solitonic Signals Generation and Transmission Using MRR

2015
The advantage of the study is that nonlinear behavior of light inside ring resonators system can be controlled and managed by using appropriate parameters of the microring resonator (MRR) system. The effects of the coupling coefficients on the bifurcation and chaos behaviors, in terms of roundtrip and output powers are presented.

THz frequency generation using MRRs for THz imaging

2012 International Conference on Enabling Science and Nanotechnology, 2012
We propose a new design of THz frequency carrier generation for medical applications. The dense wavelength division multiplexing can be generated by using a Gaussian pulse propagating within a modified PANDA ring resonator and Add/drop filter. Results obtained have shown that region of frequency can be obtained between 30–100 THz.

Design of ROADM based on CWDM and MRRs

2017 IEEE 2nd Information Technology, Networking, Electronic and Automation Control Conference (ITNEC), 2017
In metro-access optical network, reconfigurable optical add/drop multiplexers (ROADMs) are required. A ROADM based on coarse wavelength division multiplexer (CWDM) and microring resonators (MRRs) has been proposed and demonstrated. The simulation and performance analysis of ROADM system are carried out by using beam propagation method (BPM) and finite ...

Suggesting a Sonographic Index to Measure Ultrasound Diaphragmatic MRR

2016
Measurements of ultrasound diaphragmatic motion may provide important and essential information about diaphragmatic fatigue. In this work, we propose a semi-automated analysis system for measuring the diaphragmatic motion and estimation of the maximum relaxation rate (MRR) from ultrasound M-mode images of the diaphragmatic muscle.

Study of MRR for EN47 Spring Steel in WEDM

Materials Today: Proceedings, 2018
Abstract The influence of process parameters of WEDM (wire electro discharge machining) on MRR of EN47 spring steel is examined in the present study. Taguchi methodology along with L27 orthogonal array is used to optimize the MRR by considering four process parameters i.e. Pulse-on time (Ton), Pulse-off time (Toff), Wire feed (WF)and gap voltage (V).

Notch Filters based on Multilayer Ring Resonators (MRR)

2019 IEEE 19th Mediterranean Microwave Symposium (MMS), 2019
Notched band filters are proposed based on multilayer ring resonator (MRR) structures. Three methods are introduced to obtain notch response for both forward-coupling and reverse-coupling configurations. In the first technique, an extra loop is employed on the top or bottom layer of MRR filters and a stop band is generated.
