Analysis of MS/MS Fragmentation of Taxoids [PDF]

open access: yesNatural Product Communications, 2010
The fragmentation pathways of seven types of taxoids were investigated by using a LC-MS/MS method, namely: (1) neutral taxoids with a C-4(20) double bond; (2) taxoids with a C-4(20) double bond and oxygenation at C-14; (3) 5-cinnamoyl taxoids with a C-4(20) double bond; (4) a basic taxoid with a C-4(20) double bond; (5) a taxoid ...

Structural instability impairs function of the UDP‐xylose synthase 1 Ile181Asn variant associated with short‐stature genetic syndrome in humans

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
The Ile181Asn variant of human UDP‐xylose synthase (hUXS1), associated with a short‐stature genetic syndrome, has previously been reported as inactive. Our findings demonstrate that Ile181Asn‐hUXS1 retains catalytic activity similar to the wild‐type but exhibits reduced stability, a looser oligomeric state, and an increased tendency to precipitate ...

Prediction of Surface Tension and Surface Properties of binary mixtures Containing Ionic Liquids Using Thermodynamics and Artificial Neural Network Models [PDF]

open access: yesشیمی کاربردی روز, 2017
In this paper, surface tension and surface properties of binary mixtures containing alcohol (methanol and ethanol) ionic liquid (1-bptf, 1-b-3-mptf and 1-b-4-mptf)) have been determined using thermodynamics and theoretical methods at various temperatures

REDUCING LDPC DECODER COMPLEXITY BY USING FPGA BASED ON MIN SUM ALGORITHM

open access: yesMağallaẗ Al-kūfaẗ Al-handasiyyaẗ, 2022
Low-Density Parity-Check (LDPC) code approaches Shannon–limit execution for twofold ‎field and long code lengths. The point of this work is to propose an LDPC calculation for Min ‎Sum (MS) deciphering and playing out its equipment execution investigation

Multiresidue Analysis of Pesticides in Moringa Pods by GC-MS/MS and LC-MS/MS

open access: yesJournal of AOAC INTERNATIONAL, 2020
Abstract Background Moringa pods are known for their nutritional and health benefits. The cultivation of this crop receives frequent pesticide applications. In the absence of risk assessment data, maximum residue limits of pesticides in this crop are considered at the default level (0.01 mg/kg ...

Transferrin receptor 1‐mediated iron uptake supports thermogenic activation in human cervical‐derived adipocytes

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
In this study, we found that human cervical‐derived adipocytes maintain intracellular iron level by regulating the expression of iron transport‐related proteins during adrenergic stimulation. Melanotransferrin is predicted to interact with transferrin receptor 1 based on in silico analysis.

The planar cell polarity protein Vangl2 interacts with the PDZ‐domains of Scribble but not with a unique PDZ‐like domain in Inturned

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Structural and biochemical characterisations show that the planar cell polarity (PCP) protein Inturned harbours a unique PDZ‐like domain that does not bind canonical PDZ‐binding motifs (PBMs) like that of another PCP protein Vangl2. In contrast, the apical‐basal polarity protein Scribble contains four PDZ domains that bind Vangl2, but one PDZ domain ...

Tau acetylation at K331 has limited impact on tau pathology in vivo

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We mapped tau post‐translational modifications in humanized MAPT knock‐in mice and in amyloid‐bearing double knock‐in mice. Acetylation within the repeat domain, particularly around K331, showed modest increases under amyloid pathology. To test functional relevance, we generated MAPTK331Q knock‐in mice.
