This study reports the development of AMS@Eud core‐shell microspheres, combining calcium alginate and pH‐responsive Eudragit® L100, which exhibit exceptional gastrointestinal resistance and long‐term storage stability (only 5.28%–9.09% viability loss over 35 days at 4–25°C), and effectively alleviate inflammatory bowel disease via gut microbiota ...

Atomically precise metal cluster enzymes for pathological tissue regeneration
Schematic illustration of atomically precise metal cluster enzymes (MCEs) for pathological tissue regeneration. Atomically precise MCEs can modulate biological processes, such as attenuation of inflammatory responses, eradication of bacterial pathogens, regulation of angiogenesis, and promotion of cell development.

A dual strategy integrating genetic engineering and physical encapsulation was proposed to enhance the cell viability and antioxidant properties of probiotics. The cascade antioxidant enzymes released from probiotic microspheres restore intestinal redox homeostasis by eliminating intestinal reactive oxygen species for ulcerative colitis treatment ...

The deprotection of Lys(Mtt) revisited
Journal of Peptide Science, 2000The selective deprotection of Lys(Mtt)-containing peptidyl resins was successfully monitored by RP-HPLC using very short linear gradients. RP-HPLC analyses of the acidic filtrates also revealed the partial cleavage of the Trt groups and of the peptide-resin bond. The absorbance of the Mtt carbocation at 470 nm is only twice that of the Trt cation. Thus,

The MTT assay for cell viability and cell proliferation has been modified to improve its reproducibility and accuracy. The modified test is performed on MultiScreen filtration plates, which permits the removal of the culture medium prior to formazan solubilisation, without loss of cells or formazan crystals. A 1:1 mix of DMSO and ethanol is used as the

The MTT Assay to Evaluate Chemosensitivity
2005The assessment of the degree or rate of cellular proliferation and cell viability is critical to the assessment of the effects of drugs, antibodies, or cytokines on both normal and malignant cell populations. This can be accomplished by either direct or indirect counting methods.
