Patient therapy outcome modeling in cancer organoids is improved by cancer‐associated fibroblasts and organoid assembly convolution

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Patient‐derived organoids (PDOs) from pancreatic, colorectal, and gastric cancers were used to evaluate standard and experimental therapies. Incorporating cancer‐associated fibroblasts (CAFs) into organoid cultures improved patient therapy outcome prediction.

Agent-Based Computing and Programming of Agent Systems

open access: yes, 2006
The concepts of autonomous agent and multi-agent system provide appropriate levels of abstraction for the design, implementation and simulation of many complex, distributed computational systems, particularly those systems open to external participants ...

Formalisms for multi-agent systems [PDF]

open access: yesThe Knowledge Engineering Review, 1997
As computer scientists, our goals are motivated by the desire to improve computer systems in some way: making them easier to design and implement, more robust and less prone to error, easier to use, faster, cheaper, and so on. In the field of multi-agent systems, our goal is to build systems capable of flexible autonomous decision making, with ...

Epigenetic heterogeneity and plasticity in therapy‐induced tumor states through single‐cell multi‐omics

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Single‐cell multi‐omics reveals epigenetic heterogeneity across therapy‐adaptive tumor states, including quiescent/dormant, drug‐tolerant persister, and EMT‐like phenotypes. By linking regulatory features with state‐associated biomarkers, these approaches inform biomarker‐guided therapeutic strategies for evolving tumors.

Distributed adaptive iterative learning control for 2D multi agent systems

open access: yesElectronics Letters
This letter addresses the output consensus problem for a class of two‐dimensional (2D) multi agent systems (MASs) described by Fornasini–Marchesini model.

Consensus Control of Multi-Agent Systems by Intermittent Brownian Noise Stabilization Scheme

open access: yesIEEE Access
This study explores the consensus of multi-agent systems in the presence of ambient noise using intermittent Brownian noise stabilization. Firstly, the research provides a mathematical explanation of multi-agent systems and intermittent stochastic noise,

Mycobacterial cell division arrest and smooth‐to‐rough envelope transition using CRISPRi‐mediated genetic repression systems

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
CRISPRI‐mediated gene silencing and phenotypic exploration in nontuberculous mycobacteria. In this Research Protocol, we describe approaches to control, monitor, and quantitatively assess CRISPRI‐mediated gene silencing in M. smegmatis and M. abscessus model organisms.

Multi-agent Reactive Systems [PDF]

open access: yes, 2002
We present a formalism for programming complex multiagent reactive systems in a structured manner. The motivation behind this work is to obtain a simple semantic framework for such reactive systems. The approach followed is to build upon a timed extension of concurrent constraint programs that have been used to present an elegant declarative framework ...

Analysing the significance of small conformational changes and low occupancy states in serial crystallographic data

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
This protocol paper outlines methods to establish the success of a time‐resolved serial crystallographic experiment, by means of statistical analysis of timepoint data in reciprocal space and models in real space. We show how to amplify the signal from excited states to visualise structural changes in successful experiments.

Modern Trends in Multi-Agent Systems

open access: yesFuture Internet
The term “multi-agent system” is generally understood as an interconnected set of independent entities that can effectively solve complex and time-consuming problems exceeding the individual abilities of common problem solvers [...]
