Reconfigurable multi-band quadrature ΣΔ modulators [PDF]
A new design methodology for reconfigurable quadrature band-pass ΣΔ modulator is proposed. The methodology uses architectures, which locks various range of IF frequencies to the sampling frequency for lower order quadrature modulators. A gereralized integrator based architecture is developed from the delay architectures.

Analysis and Digital Predistortion of in-Band Cross Modulation in Concurrent Multi-Band Transmitters
In multiband transmitters where two or more radios share the same power amplifier (PA), interferences can usually be kept below an acceptable level with the help of multi-band digital predistortion (DPD) techniques.

Visible light communications: multi-band super-Nyquist CAP modulation [PDF]
In this paper, we experimentally demonstrate the performance of a non-orthogonal multi-band super-Nyquist carrier-less amplitude and phase (m-SCAP) modulation for visible light communications (VLC). We break the orthogonality between sub-bands in the frequency domain by compressing the spectrum, purposely overlapping them, and introducing inter-band ...

Experimental multi-user VLC system using non-orthogonal multi-band CAP modulation [PDF]
This paper provides experimental results for a multi-user visible light communications system using multi-band carrier-less amplitude and phase (m-CAP) modulation scheme. We optimize the system performance by adapting pulse shaping filter parameters, subcarrier spacing and allocating different baud rates to individual sub-bands called allocated m-CAP ...

Multi-dimensional band structure spectroscopy in the synthetic frequency dimension
The concept of synthetic dimensions in photonics provides a versatile platform in exploring multi-dimensional physics. Many of these physics are characterized by band structures in more than one dimensions. Existing efforts on band structure measurements
