Establishment of the Virtual Prototyping of Angular Transmission Error of RV Reducer based on Multi-body Dynamics Simulation

open access: yesJixie chuandong, 2018
In order to study the influence of modification of cycloid gear and bearing clearance on angular transmission error of RV reducer, based on the multi-body dynamics simulation technology,multi-body contact between gears is established by combining with the

Superradiance in spin-$J$ particles: Effects of multiple levels

open access: yes, 2011
We study the superradiance dynamics in a dense system of atoms each of which can be generally a spin-$j$ particle with $j$ an arbitrary half-integer. We generalize Dicke's superradiance point of view to multiple-level systems, and compare the results ...

New perspectives in the ultrafast spectroscopy of many-body excitations in correlated materials [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
Ultrafast spectroscopies constitute a fundamental tool to investigate the dynamics of non-equilibrium many-body states in correlated materials. Two-pulses (pump-probe) experiments have shed new light on the interplay between high-energy electronic ...

Pharmacological inhibition of the PERK pathway modulates hepatocellular carcinoma growth and immune signaling

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Pharmacological inhibition of PERK in a DEN‐induced mouse model of liver cancer does not reduce tumor burden but alters cellular stress signaling. Despite blocking PERK activity, downstream stress responses, including CHOP expression, remain active, suggesting compensatory mechanisms within the unfolded protein response that may influence tumor ...

Development of an integrated engineering education model using multi-body closed system modeling, computational analysis, and signal processing analysis

open access: yesMechanics & Industry
In this study, free high-level programming languages, GNU Octave and Python, are used to model the mechanical part simulating the periodic signal generated in the mechanical system and to link with the signal processing unit that analyzes the generated ...

Dynamic analysis of space structures including elastic, multibody, and control behavior [PDF]

open access: yes
The problem is to develop analysis methods, modeling stategies, and simulation tools to predict with assurance the on-orbit performance and integrity of large complex space structures that cannot be verified on the ground.

Natural Products as Geroprotective Modulators in Diabetic Nephropathy: A Mechanistic Framework Integrating Aging Hallmarks and the AMPK–SIRT1–Nrf2 Axis

open access: yesAging and Cancer, EarlyView.
Natural products target the aging kidney in diabetic nephropathy by restoring the AMPK–SIRT1–Nrf2 axis, reducing oxidative stress, inflammation, fibrosis, and cellular senescence while enhancing mitochondrial biogenesis and antioxidant defenses.

Dynamic Modeling and Flight Performance Analysis for Large Bionic Ornithopters Considering Structural Flexibility

open access: yesNanjing Hangkong Hangtian Daxue Xuebao
The flapping wing of large bionic ornithopters (LBOs) has obvious flexible deformation during the flapping motion, which is difficult for aerodynamic analysis.

Mechanical analysis of full-scale accelerated pavement loading facility based on multi-body dynamics

open access: yesSystems Science & Control Engineering, 2018
It is intended that the pavements need to be designed to accomplish better performance due to the continuous increases of traffic volumes, vehicle loads and tyre pressure, especially for the channelized traffic.

Long‐Term Follow‐Up of Chemotherapy‐Associated Biological Aging in Women With Early Breast Cancer

open access: yesAging and Cancer, EarlyView.
Women threated with adjuvant chemotherapy for early breast cancer have sustained long‐term increase in p16INK4a,, a robust marker of cell senescence, suggesting a chemotherapy‐associated age acceleration. p16INK4a as well as other biomarkers may identify patients at greatest risk for senescence‐related diseases of aging.
