Brachyury‐Activated Fucoidan Hydrogel Microspheres Rejuvenate Degenerative Intervertebral Discs Microenvironment

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study describes the creation of injectable Brachyury (Bry) mRNA‐loaded Fucoidan‐functionalized GelMA hydrogel microspheres (BLNP@GF). These microspheres efficiently suppress inflammation, enhance extracellular matrix (ECM) synthesis in degenerated nucleus pulposus cells, and mitigate intervertebral disc degeneration (IVDD) in rat models.

Cryo‐Inactivated Cancer Cells Derived Magnetic Micromotors for Tumor Immunotherapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Cryo‐inactivated cancer cell‐based magnetic micromotors are developed for synergistic tumor immunotherapy via magnetic targeting. These micromotors can induce ferroptosis and immunogenic cell death, deliver tumor antigens, and activate the Mn2+‐dependent cGAS‐STING pathway. The system effectively suppresses tumor progression, recurrence, and metastasis,

Prognostic significance of six autoantibodies in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma: A prospective multi‐institutional study

open access: yesAnnals of Gastroenterological Surgery, EarlyView.
The six autoantibodies (Sui1, p62, RalA, p53, NY‐ESO‐1 and c‐myc) positive group had poor prognosis compared to autoantibody negative group. A panel of autoantibodies against a tumor associated antigen in esophageal cancer patients had an additive effect with SCC‐Ag to detect esophageal SCC even in early stage.

Reverse vaccinology-based multi-epitope COVID-19 vaccine targeting SARS-CoV-2 structural and non-structural proteins induces immune responses in mice

open access: yesVaccine: X
Vaccination is effective to end pandemics, including the Coronavirus disease-2019 (COVID-19). However, the evolution of Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome-Coronavirus-2 (SARS-CoV-2) which is characterized by the emergence of the virus variants has a great
