5G network intelligent scheduling based on core network analysis and decision

open access: yesDianxin kexue, 2021
Larger bandwidth and complex technology of the 5G networks inevitably bring a significant increase in overall energy consumption, so green energy-saving of mobile networks has attracted widespread attention. The long-term coexistence of 5G and 4G, as well

Multi-frequency constraints on the non-thermal pressure in galaxy clusters

open access: yes, 2013
The origin of radio halos in galaxy clusters is still unknown and is the subject of a vibrant debate both from the observational and theoretical point of view. In particular the amount and the nature of non-thermal plasma and of the magnetic field energy

Glycosylated LGALS3BP is highly secreted by bladder cancer cells and represents a novel urinary disease biomarker

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Urinary LGALS3BP is elevated in bladder cancer patients compared to healthy controls as detected by the 1959 antibody–based ELISA. The antibody shows enhanced reactivity to the high‐mannose glycosylated variant secreted by cancer cells treated with kifunensine (KIF).

The Feasibility of Semi-Continuous and Multi-Frequency Thoracic Bioimpedance Measurements by a Wearable Device during Fluid Changes in Hemodialysis Patients

open access: yesSensors
Repeated single-point measurements of thoracic bioimpedance at a single (low) frequency are strongly related to fluid changes during hemodialysis. Extension to semi-continuous measurements may provide longitudinal details in the time pattern of the ...

Intein‐based modular chimeric antigen receptor platform for specific CD19/CD20 co‐targeting

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
CARtein is a modular CAR platform that uses split inteins to splice antigen‐recognition modules onto a universal signaling backbone, enabling precise, scarless assembly without re‐engineering signaling domains. Deployed here against CD19 and CD20 in B‐cell malignancies, the design supports flexible multi‐antigen targeting to boost T‐cell activation and

Horizontal-axis tidal turbine blade loading for multi-frequency oscillatory motion [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
This paper presents results from an experimental study which analysed the hydrodynamic response of the out-of-plane blade root bending moment for a horizontal-axis turbine exposed to multi-frequency oscillatory motion.

Multi-frequency acousto-electromagnetic tomography

open access: yesMathematics and its applications, 2014
This paper focuses on the acousto-electromagnetic tomography, a recently introduced hybrid imaging technique. In a previous work, the reconstruction of the electric permittivity of the medium from internal data was achieved under the Born approximation assumption. In this work, we tackle the general problem by a Landweber iteration algorithm.

Effect of chemotherapy on passenger mutations in metastatic colorectal cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Changes in passenger mutation load and predicted immunotherapy response after chemotherapy treatment. Tumor cells rich with passenger mutations have increased sensitivity to chemotherapy. Correlation of passenger mutations with neoantigen load suggests highly mutated clones promote a more effective response to immunotherapy, and therefore, first‐line ...

Methylation biomarkers can distinguish pleural mesothelioma from healthy pleura and other pleural pathologies

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We developed and validated a DNA methylation–based biomarker panel to distinguish pleural mesothelioma from other pleural conditions. Using the IMPRESS technology, we translated this panel into a clinically applicable assay. The resulting two classifier models demonstrated excellent performance, achieving high AUC values and strong diagnostic accuracy.
