Satellite Selection in Multi-GNSS Positioning

ION GNSS+, The International Technical Meeting of the Satellite Division of The Institute of Navigation, 2016
Satellites selection can be performed based on constellation geometry, ranging-signal quality, or both. For applications where multipath and blockage are not major problems, Signal-in-Space (SIS) user range error varies less significantly, which is the case for many applications most of the time.

Broadcast versus precise ephemerides: a multi-GNSS perspective

GPS Solutions, 2014
A consistent analysis of signal-in-space ranging errors (SISREs) is presented for all current satellite navigation systems, considering both global average values and worst-user-location statistics. The analysis is based on 1 year of broadcast ephemeris messages of the Global Positioning System (GPS), GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou and QZSS collected with a ...

Multi-GNSS time transfer based on the CGGTTS

Metrologia, 2019
Abstract This paper studies the use of multiple GNSS constellations for time transfer. The performances of each constellation are compared to one another. We show that, with its current constellation, Galileo already provides time transfer results with the same or better performances than GPS, for which some time links are affected by

Multi-GNSS Single Frequency Precise Point Positioning

2018 IEEE International Workshop on Metrology for the Sea; Learning to Measure Sea Health Parameters (MetroSea), 2018
Single Frequency-Precise Point Positioning (SF-PPP) processing strategy is a hot topic in GNSS context, owing to the advantages of a stand-alone, accurate and cost efficiency positioning. However, the existing SF-PPP methods can be hardly implemented for high-precision applications due to the large error sources that affect accuracy and converge time ...

Simulation of Multi-GNSS Observations

Cosmic Research
In this paper, expressions for high-precision simulation of multi-GNSS observations received in low Earth orbit are given. Based on this observation model, the real spacecraft orbit was refined. Based on real data from the GRACE space project, the results were compared with simulated measurements from foreign software.

An Evaluation of Multi-GNSS Receiver’s Interoperability

2012
Recently, as a part of multi-GNSS performance test, evaluation of interoperability becomes an challenge in receiver test field. And there is not a standard or a criterion yet. The paper focused on the assessment of Multi-GNSS Receiver’s Interoperability.

Integrated Multi-GNSS Receivers

The challenges of multi-band, multi-system (i.e., multi-) GNSS reception are higher bandwidths, higher sampling rates, and often multiple reception chains. All of these lead to an increase in complexity, size, and power consumption, especially for integrated radio frequency (RF) front-ends.
