Satellite navigation is quickly becoming a multidimensional complex challenge, with four Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) fully or partially deployed, more than 90 GNSS satellites currently in the sky, and 12 open-service GNSS signal types available to the end-user. Research papers about GNSS performance typically focus on single or dual GNSS

A programmable multi-GNSS baseband receiver
2015 IEEE International Symposium on Circuits and Systems (ISCAS), 2015This paper assesses the drawbacks in reconfigura-bility and resource consumption of the conventional baseband signal processing circuitry for modern Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSSs) signals. The involvement of new GNSSs leads to the requirement of designing a programmable multi-GNSS baseband receiver that can be reconfigured across GNSS ...

A Method of Channel Selection for Multi-GNSS Receiver
2019 International Conference on Electronics, Information, and Communication (ICEIC), 2019In this paper, a method of channel selection for multi-GNSS receiver to reduce effect of interference is proposed. The method is to find the LO frequency that can minimize the effect of interference in situations where the sampling frequency and pass band of filter in the receiver are fixed.

The world of satellite navigation is experiencing an era of expansion, as the GNSS community is growing. Besides the two already operational systems, the United States of America’s GPS and Russia’s GLONASS, two additional constellations are currently under development and near to be completed: the Chinese BeiDou and the European Galileo.

Advances in multi-GNSS time transfer
2013 Joint European Frequency and Time Forum & International Frequency Control Symposium (EFTF/IFC), 2013This paper proposes a method to combine GPS and GLONASS measurements for time transfer in All-in-View, using calibration data for both GPS and GLONASS. GLONASS has to date a complete constellation, but its use for time transfer is made difficult by the existence of biases for each satellite-receiver pair.

Multi-GNSS Receiver Antenna Calibration
2020Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) are not only widely used for precise positioning, navigation and timing but also for establishing of terrestrial reference frames for geospatial applications, such as land and water management. The quality of GNSS carrier phase measurements depends on the knowledge about the location of the exact electrical ...

GDOP minimum in multi-GNSS positioning
Advances in Space Research, 2017Abstract In positioning, navigation and timing (PNT) applications with the Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS), the geometric dilution of precision (GDOP) offers an important index for selecting satellites from all tracked satellites for positioning calculation.
