Hitchhiker's Guide to the Swampland: The Cosmologist's Handbook to the String‐Theoretical Swampland Programme

open access: yesFortschritte der Physik, Volume 74, Issue 4, April 2026.
Abstract String theory has strong implications for cosmology, implying the absence of a cosmological constant, ruling out single‐field slow‐roll inflation, and that black holes decay. The origins of these statements are elucidated within the string‐theoretical swampland programme.

Children's Inalienable Literacy Education Rights and the Science of Reading

open access: yesReading Research Quarterly, Volume 61, Issue 2, April/May/June 2026.
The graphical abstract includes an image of a tree rooted in the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child; this fruitful tree represents rights‐affirming literacy education. 15 literacy education rights (elaborated in the article) are listed as dimensions of rights‐affirming education.

The infamous 95 GeV b b ¯ $$ \textrm{b}\overline{\textrm{b}} $$ excess at LEP: two b or not two b?

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
A small deviation observed around 95 GeV in the diphoton invariant mass distribution in the LHC Run 2 data has been subject to considerable attention in the past couple of years.

Long-lived particle phenomenology in the 2HDM+a model

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2023
Higgs decays displaced from the primary interaction vertex represent a striking experimental signature that is actively searched for by the ATLAS, CMS and LHCb collaborations.

Drivers of complexity in ecosystem restoration

open access: yesJournal of Applied Ecology, Volume 63, Issue 4, April 2026.
This study shows that ecological complexity is empirically measurable, and its development in restoration can be influenced by key variables, which have mechanistic underpinnings. The foundational role of structural complexity driving other aspects of complexity could guide management efforts to enhance ecological complexity.

Large Hierarchies from Attractor Vacua

open access: yes, 2004
We discuss a mechanism through which the multi-vacua theories, such as String Theory, could solve the Hierarchy Problem, without any UV-regulating physics at low energies.

Precision Higgs width and couplings with a high energy muon collider

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
The interpretation of Higgs data is typically based on different assumptions about whether there can be additional decay modes of the Higgs or if any couplings can be bounded by theoretical arguments.

Flavour Invariants of Multi Higgs Models

open access: yes
In this work, a systematic way of analyzing the N Higgs Doublet Models flavor sector will be developed. We introduce a complete set of mixing matrices describing the rotation between certain suitably defined bases, akin to the Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa matrix, which describes the relation between the up-quark and down-quark mass bases. We point out the

Composite 2-Higgs doublet model: strong effects on Higgs pair production

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
We show how effects of compositeness emerging in a Composite 2-Higgs Doublet Model can enter Standard Model (SM)-like Higgs boson pair production at the Large Hadron Collider in both resonant and non-resonant mode.
