Harnessing heterogeneity within soybean cultivars to prioritize loci for quantitative trait improvement

open access: yesCrop Science, Volume 66, Issue 2, March/April 2026.
Abstract Soybean [Glycine max (L.) Merr.] cultivars are presumed to be highly homogeneous; however, intra‐cultivar variation has been reported in previous studies. The objective of this study was to characterize intra‐cultivar variation and utilize it to identify sublines that out‐perform source cultivars for agronomic and seed composition traits ...

The making of novel ecosystems: A process‐based framework for measurement, analysis and application

open access: yesMethods in Ecology and Evolution, Volume 17, Issue 3, Page 683-704, March 2026.
Abstract Ecological novelty is emerging rapidly due to global change drivers such as climate shifts, species introductions, defaunation, and land‐use transformation. These changes challenge how we assess, understand and manage ecosystems in the Anthropocene.

Supersymmetric multi-Higgs doublet model with nonlinear electroweak symmetry breaking

open access: yesPhysical Review D, 2012
The electroweak symmetry is nonlinearly realized in an extension of the minimal supersymmetric standard model (MSSM) through an additional pair of constrained Higgs doublet superfields. The superpotential couplings of this constrained Higgs doublet pair to the MSSM Higgs doublet pair catalyze their vacuum expectation values.

Electroweak gauge invariant Higgs multiplets

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
We investigate the potential of general Higgs multiplets. We establish the domain of general Higgs multiplets within the context of the adjoint representation.

Scrutinizing the Alignment Limit in Two-Higgs-Doublet Models. Part 2: $m_H=125$ GeV

open access: yes, 2015
In the alignment limit of a multi-doublet Higgs sector, one of the Higgs mass eigenstates aligns in field space with the direction of the scalar field vacuum expectation values, and its couplings approach those of the Standard Model (SM) Higgs boson.

SUSY and the Electroweak Phase Transition

open access: yes, 1996
We analyze the effective 3 dimensional theory previously constructed for the MSSM and multi-Higgs models to determine the regions of parameter space in which the electroweak phase transition is sufficiently strong for a $B+L$ asymmetry to survive in the ...

Radiative charged-lepton mass generation in multi-Higgs doublet models

open access: yes, 2014
We show that charged-lepton masses can be radiatively induced in multi-Higgs doublet models (NHDMs) through the renormalization group running of Yukawa couplings from high to low energies.

Can multi-TeV (top and other) squarks be natural in gauge mediation?

open access: yes, 2000
We investigate whether multi-TeV (1-3 TeV) squarks can be natural in models of gauge mediated SUSY breaking. The idea is that for some boundary condition of the scalar (Higgs and stop) masses, the Higgs (mass)$^2$, evaluated at the renormalization scale $

Flavour constraints on multi-Higgs-doublet models: Yukawa alignment [PDF]

open access: yesNuclear Physics B - Proceedings Supplements, 2010
In multi-Higgs-doublet models, the alignment in flavour space of all Yukawa matrices coupling to a given right-handed fermion guarantees the absence of tree-level flavour-changing neutral couplings, while introducing new sources of CP violation. With N Higgs doublets (and no right-handed neutrinos) the Yukawa Lagrangian is characterized by the fermion ...
