A recursive estimation approach to distributed identification of large-scale multi-input-single-output FIR systems

open access: yesIFAC-PapersOnLine, 2018
The problem of identifying single modules in multiple-input-single-output (MISO) systems is considered. A novel approach to distributed identification of MISO finite impulse response systems is presented. The distributed identification is discerned by the local estimation of local parameters, which correspond to a module in the MISO system.

Two-degree-of-freedom control scheme for flying-height and tracking-position controls with thermal actuators in HDDs

open access: yesJournal of Advanced Mechanical Design, Systems, and Manufacturing, 2018
To improve positioning accuracy of a magnetic head in hard disk drives (HDDs), a triple-stage-actuator system was proposed with a thermal positioning actuator for a magnetic head positioning system. This positioning system has three types of actuators: a

Electrochemical-kinetics, MD-simulation and multi-input single-output (MISO) modeling using adaptive neuro-fuzzy inference system (ANFIS) prediction for dexamethasone drug as eco-friendly corrosion inhibitor for mild steel in 2 M HCl electrolyte

open access: yesJournal of the Taiwan Institute of Chemical Engineers, 2020
In this research, the effect of Dexamethasone drug (DM) on mild steel corrosion  in  2 M HCl was analyzed using weight loss, potentiodynamic polarization, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) and MD-simulation. In addition, Fourier transform infrared spectra (FTIR), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Energy dispersive x-ray spectroscopy (EDX),

High-frequency Resonance Analysis and Impedance Reshaping Control of MMC-HVDC System Based on Frequency Coupling Impedance Model

open access: yesJournal of Modern Power Systems and Clean Energy
In recent years, high-frequency resonance (HFR) events occurred in several modular multilevel converter based high-voltage direct current (MMC-HVDC) projects. The time delay of an MMC-HVDC system is the critical factor that induces HFR.

A Single-Input Multi-Output Inverter with Voltage Boosting for Multi-Load Wireless Power Transfer Systems

open access: yesApplied Sciences
Multi-load wireless power transfer systems generally require the configuration of multiple transmitting coils. Using traditional single-output inverters will increase the number of inverters, leading to increased system costs and complex structures ...
