Modelling of Multi-Objective Transshipment Problem with Fuzzy Goal Programming

open access: yesInternational Journal of Transportation, 2018
The purpose of the transportation problem is trying to find the best route to meet the demands by using the supply points with capacity. While the Transportation problem only allowed products to be conveyed directly from the supply centers to demand centers, problem of transshipment transfer centers are also used.

A Lightweight Procedural Layer for Hybrid Experimental–Computational Workflows in Materials Science

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
We unveil a prototype hybrid‐workflow framework that fuses automatedcomputation with hands‐on experiments. Built atop pyiron, a lightweight, parameterized layer translates procedure descriptions into executable manual steps, syncing instrument settings, human interventions, and data capture in real‐time today.

Decomposition, Reformulation, and Diving in University Course Timetabling

open access: yes, 2009
In many real-life optimisation problems, there are multiple interacting components in a solution. For example, different components might specify assignments to different kinds of resource.

Rational Fine‐Tuning of MOF Pore Metrics: Enhanced SO2 Capture and Sensing with Optimal Multi‐Site Interactions

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A pore tuning strategy to amplify the multi‐site MOF‐SO2 interactions is proposed to achieve an enhanced trace SO2 capture and chemiresistive sensing in highly stable isostructural DMOFs by annelating benzene rings. This work provides a facile strategy to achieve tailor‐made stable MOF materials for specific multifunctional applications.

Solving Fully Intuitionistic Fuzzy Multi-Level Multi-Objective Fractional Optimization Problems via Two Different Approaches

open access: yesFractal and Fractional
Uncertainty is the biggest issue when modeling real-world multi-level fractional optimization problems. In this paper, a fully intuitionistic fuzzy multi-level multi-objective fractional programming problem (FIF-MLMOFPP) is tackled via two different ...

Multivariate Multi-Objective Allocation in Stratified Random Sampling: A Game Theoretic Approach. [PDF]

open access: yesPLoS ONE, 2016
We consider the problem of multivariate multi-objective allocation where no or limited information is available within the stratum variance. Results show that a game theoretic approach (based on weighted goal programming) can be applied to sample size ...
