Multi-sensor data fusion architecture

Proceedings. Second International Conference on Creating, Connecting and Collaborating through Computing, 2005
In this work we present multi-sensor data fusion architecture. The objective of the architecture is to obtain fused measured data that represent the measured parameter as accurate as possible. The architecture is based on the use of adaptive Kalman filter formed by using Kalman filter and fuzzy logic techniques.

Model-based multi-sensor data fusion

Proceedings 1992 IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Automation, 2003
The authors describe an algorithm for implementing a multisensor system in a model-based environment with consideration of the constraints. Based on an environment model, geometric features and constraints are generated from a CAD model database. Sensor models are used to predict sensor response to certain features and to interpret raw sensor data.

System identification for multi-sensor data fusion

2015 American Control Conference (ACC), 2015
In this paper we discuss the problem of combining sensor information for two main detection problems: 1) two variants of a spatial search problem and 2) a fault detection problem for a three tank system (TTS). In all cases the assumption is that data may be collected from multiple sensors.

Multi-sensor Data Fusion Technologies in Food

2021
The food quality is evaluated by external appearance and interior composition, while a single detection technology has limitations for achieving highly accurate and stable results. In comparison with single-sensor, multi-sensor data ffusion (MSDF) has several merits offering detailed information, medium tolerance human cognitive level ability to ...

Multi-sensor data fusion in automotive applications

2008 3rd International Conference on Sensing Technology, 2008
The application of environment sensor systems in modern - often called ldquointelligentrdquo - cars is regarded as a promising instrument for increasing road traffic safety. Based on a context perception enabled by well-known technologies such as radar, laser or video, these cars are able to detect threats on the road, anticipate emerging dangerous ...

Statistical modelling of multi-sensor data fusion

2017 IEEE International Conference on Vehicular Electronics and Safety (ICVES), 2017
Increasing the reliability of sensor data, especially in collision avoidance applications, is of great importance and involves the development of different sensor fusion methods. To reduce the limitations and disadvantages of common fusion methods and their challenges with respect to highly automated driving, this paper proposes a statistical model of ...

An Estimator for Multi-Sensor Data Fusion

2006 IEEE International Conference on Systems, Man and Cybernetics, 2006
In this paper, we examine binary hypothesis testing and parameter estimation problem in a sensor network. We address the problem of detection and also the estimation of the underlying parameter at the fusion center by optimally combining the test statistics sent by different sensors.

Kodak multi-sensor IMINT fusion data collection

Proceedings of the Fifth International Conference on Information Fusion. FUSION 2002. (IEEE Cat.No.02EX5997), 2003
Coincident collection of multisensor data is a scarce resource, often difficult to achieve both technically and for cost reasons. At the same time, the availability of such well-truthed, coincident collections is often a determinant in the success of fusion algorithm development programs.
