KDM7A and KDM1A inhibition suppresses tumour promoting pathways in prostate cancer
Treatment resistance is a major challenge for patients with advanced prostate cancer. This study examined an alternative approach to target the major prostate cancer‐promoting pathway by targeting epigenetic factors, whose levels are higher in tumours.

Intratumour heterogeneity complicates precision management of advanced endometrial cancer. Circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) offers a minimally invasive strategy to capture tumor evolution and therapeutic resistance. Here, we compare tumor‐agnostic NGS with tumor‐informed ddPCR, outlining their relative sensitivity, concordance, and clinical implications ...

An examination of quantitative methods for Forensic Signature Analysis and the admissibility of signature verification system as legal evidence. [PDF]
The experiments described in this thesis deal with handwriting characteristics which are involved in the production of forged and genuine signatures and complexity of signatures.

Interpreting the effects of DNA polymerase variants at the structural level
Using MAVISp and molecular dynamics simulations, we analyzed over 60 000 missense variants in POLE and POLD1 from ClinVar, COSMIC, cBioPortal, and saturation mutagenesis. Identified mechanistic indicators, including stability, binding, and long‐range, enable structural interpretation, providing ACMG‐like evidence for possible reclassification of VUS ...

Cryptanalysis of A New Multi-Proxy Multi-Signature Scheme
[[abstract]]Recently, Hwang and Chen [5] proposed a variation of proxy signature scheme called the multi-proxy multi-signature scheme. In their scheme, an authorized group of proxy signers is allowed to sign message on behalf of a group of original ...

Radiotherapy (RT) response depends on the DNA repair capacity of tumor and host cells. We show that circulating tumor cell (CTC) counts and apoptosis rates before and after RT predict treatment response and outcome, which can be accessed via easily accessible liquid biopsy approaches. A Non-repudiable Multi-Proxy Multi-Signature Scheme
[[abstract]]In this paper, we shall propose a threshold multi-proxy multi-signature scheme with shared verification. In the scheme allows the group of original signers to delegate the signing capability to the designated group of proxy signers ...

Adaptive feature thresholding for off-line signature verification
This paper introduces Adaptive Feature Thresholding (AFT) which is a novel method of person-dependent off-line signature verification. AFT enhances how a simple image feature of a signature is converted to a binary feature vector by significantly ...

An Improved RSA-based Certificateless Multi-signature Scheme
:Three forgery attacks on Liu Li et al.'s RSA-based certificateless multi-signature scheme were first presented. It could be found that their scheme was vulnerable to key replacement attacks. The scheme also could not resist conspiracy attack of dishonest ...

Multi-signature based person re-identification
A novel appearance-based method for person re-identification is proposed. The approach exploits three local features to extract the shape and the chromatic appearance of an individual. Robustness against low resolution images, viewpoint and illumination changes, occlusions and pose variations is achieved by a novel signature.
