BER performance in wavelength packet-switched WDM systems during nano-second wavelength switching events [PDF]
An important characteristic of wavelength tuneable laser transmitters is that as they tune between output wavelength channels they may generate light at a range of other wavelengths.

Multi-wavelength observations of stellar flares [PDF]
AbstractWe present observational data on stellar flares from a range of wavelength regimes, many of which were obtained simultaneously. Physical parameters of these flares are derived and discussed in the framework of the general solar flare model. It is found that flares on dMe stars are solar-like, except in mean energy.

Multi-Wavelength Photopolymerization of Stable Poly(Catecholamines)-DNA Origami Nanostructures
Orthogonality is pivotal yet chemically challenging in the bottom-up synthesis of multicomponent nanostructures. Here, we leverage the fidelity of the DNA origami technique to install a multi wavelength responsive photopolymerization system with ...

Performance analysis of a 2-D time-wavelength OCDMA wavelength-aware receiver with beat noise [PDF]
The effect of beat noise on two-dimensional time-wavelength optical code-division multiple-access systems utilising wavelength-aware receivers is examined. A derivation of a general formula for the bit error probability taking into consideration multiple

Multiwavelength View of the M87 Black Hole Captured by the Event Horizon Telescope [PDF]
In 2017, the first image of the center of the M87 galaxy was captured by the Event Horizon Telescope (EHT). It revealed a ring morphology and a size consistent with theoretical expectations for the light pattern around a weakly accreting supermassive ...

Multi-wavelength observations of novae in outburst [PDF]
A nova outburst is the second most violent explosion that can occur in a galaxy. While less violent than a supernova explosion, novae are considerably more frequent. More than 250 have been observed in the last century and there were more than a dozen novae being observed in outburst when this review was written.
