Using this technique a number of pertinent geometrical configurations are investigated in order to eliminate intermodal dispersion among supermodes.

Multicore erbium-doped fiber amplifier
2012 17th Opto-Electronics and Communications Conference, 2012A multicore erbium-doped fiber (MC-EDF) amplifier for simultaneous amplification in the 7-cores has been developed, and the gain and noise properties of individual cores are studied.
