We introduce decomposition complexes of posets, which generalize order complexes. The main advantage of our construction is that decomposition complexes are closed under taking products. Other special instances of this theory include nested set complexes as well as Bergman complexes.

Complex Intersection Bodies [PDF]
We introduce complex intersection bodies and show that their properties and applications are similar to those of their real counterparts. In particular, we generalize Busemann's theorem to the complex case by proving that complex intersection bodies of symmetric complex convex bodies are also convex.

The analysis of metabolite channelling in multienzyme complexes and multifunctional proteins [PDF]
Multienzyme complexes and multifunctional proteins may confer a kinetic advantage by channelling reaction intermediates between consecutive enzymes and reducing the transient time for the establishment of steady states. A general means for quantitatively assessing the contribution of channelling to the reduction of pool size and transient time is ...

Direct Quantification of Protein–Protein Interactions in Living Bacterial Cells
Quantitative measurement of protein–protein interactions in living cells is vital for biotechnology applications. Fluorescence resonance energy transfer (FRET) signals in bacterial cells are often weak, leading to false‐positive. Quantitative FRET measurements are implemented to overcome the weak FRET signal.

Matching trees for simplicial complexes and homotopy type of devoid complexes of graphs [PDF]
We generalize some homotopy calculation techniques such as splittings and matching trees that are introduced for the computations in the case of the independence complexes of graphs to arbitrary simplicial complexes, and exemplify their efficiency on some simplicial complexes, the devoid complexes of graphs, which are simplicial complexes parametrized ...
