Comprehensive genetic and epigenetic characterization of Lynch‐like syndrome patients
What's new? Lynch‐like syndrome is associated with development of colorectal cancer (CRC) with microsatellite instability and loss of expression of certain mismatch repair (MMR) genes, similar to Lynch syndrome, but unlike Lynch syndrome, the genetic cause of Lynch‐like syndrome (LLS) remains unknown.

Two New Species of Ochotona (Mammalia, Lagomorpha) From Xizang, China
During small mammals faunal surveys in Xizang conducted in 2003, 2023, and 2024, we collected two unidentifiable taxa of Ochotona. Phylogenetic analyses based on both mitochondrial and nuclear gene sequences resolve these specimens as distinct clusters within the O. macrotis and O. forresti species groups.

Molecular diagnostic testing identified mCRPC patients with BRCA mutations eligible for targeted therapies. Testing success is often contingent on the quality of tissue handling and laboratory processing techniques to minimize DNA degradation and suboptimal sequencing data quality.
