A Systematic Approach to Multistage Detectors in Multipath Fading Channels

IEEE Transactions on Information Theory, 2005
We consider linear multistage detectors with universal (large system) weighting for synchronous code-division multiple access (CDMA) in multipath fading channels with many users. A convenient choice of the basis of the projection subspace allows a joint projection of all users.

Performance of a Bluetooth system in multipath fading channels and interference

4th International Workshop on Mobile and Wireless Communications Network, 2003
Bluetooth is an emerging, short range, indoor wireless network technology, based on FH-CDMA/TDD, which allows a collection of devices to form small overlapping networks, called piconets, in an ad hoc fashion. The performance of a Bluetooth link is evaluated in multipath fading channels in the presence of interference from an IEEE 802.11b wireless local

On the energy efficiency of coherent communication in multipath fading channels

2014 IEEE Globecom Workshops (GC Wkshps), 2014
Conventional research on energy-efficient wireless systems tends to focus on saving transmit energy. However, as the evolution of wireless systems moves towards shorter distance transmission and smaller cell sizes, the computational energy in wireless hardware becomes significant alongside transmit radio energy.

Detection techniques for fading multipath channels with unresolved components

IEEE Transactions on Information Theory, 1998
Summary: The authors consider noncoherent detection structures for multipath Ricean/Rayleigh fading channels. The multipath components are assumed to be unresolved, with known delays. These delays could have been estimated, for example, by using super-resolution techniques or sounding the channel with a wide-band pulse.

Diversity receivers in a fast fading multipath channel: Dissertation

1995
Some radio channels are fast fading in the sense that they are randomly time-variant and the Doppler spread is in the order of or larger than the symbol rate of the digital signal. Such channels can be found in land-mobile, aircraft, and satellite communications, especially when the symbol rate is small, the velocity of the mobile station is large, and
