A new approach for analyzing problems with multiple objectives is described. The analysis is based on the “Indifference Band”, this concept is described and defined in the paper. Relation to previous results especially Yu’s, are given.

Multiple Criteria Optimisation
1978Very often a manager is faced with decisions involving many goals such as pollution, cost, risk, etc. He is then looking for a solution which gives him the highest satisfaction possible regarding all of the goals.

Criteria for Performing Multiple Dosimetry
Health Physics, 1995When radiation fields vary spatially as a result of job- or location-specific conditions, the use of more than one dosimeter may be necessary for a variety of radiation protection purposes. This paper contains a methodology for when and how to use multiple dosimeters under conditions incident to routine activities in the presence of ionizing radiation.

Multiple-criteria optimization
Journal of Chromatography A, 1991Abstract In many chromatographic optimization problems, it is unusual to find only one response that must be optimized. Multiple-criteria optimization methods allow the combination of several responses into a single figure-of-merit. Origins are traced to Harringtons' “desirability functions” and Zadeh's “fuzzy sets”.

Management Science, 1965
Six methods for collecting the judgments of experts concerning the relative value of sets of criteria were compared for their reliability and time efficiency. The methods were ranking, rating, three versions of paired comparisons and a method of successive comparisons suggested by Churchman, Ackoff and Arnoff [Churchman, C. W., R. L. Ackoff, E.

On Prioritized Multiple-Criteria Aggregation
IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics, Part B (Cybernetics), 2012We describe multicriteria aggregation and discuss its central role in many modern applications. The concept of aggregation imperative is introduced to indicate the description of how the individual criteria satisfactions should be combined to obtain the overall score.

Multiple participant-multiple criteria decision making
IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics, 1993Meaningful connections among different types of decision making Situations are established in order to improve the development of useful decision technologies for application to real world problems. More specifically, an assertion is put forward that suggests that single participant-multiple criteria (SPMC) and multiple participant-single criterion ...

Multiple Criteria ABC Analysis
International Journal of Operations & Production Management, 1986Prioritising items for management attention has been advocated in operations management for a long time, normally using ABC analysis (inventory control). This focuses attention on the “A” category items to maximise managerial effectiveness. Empirical evidence shows that this is a reasonable rule for allocating scarce resource‐management time but ...

Diagnostic Criteria of Multiple Myeloma
Hematology/Oncology Clinics of North America, 1992Immunoelectrophoresis or immunofixation is necessary for the identification of a monoclonal protein. During 1990 at the Mayo Clinic, 787 patients were found to have a monoclonal gammopathy. IgG accounted for 61% of the cases, followed by IgM (18%), IgA (11%), Bence Jones proteinemia (6%), biclonal gammopathy (3.5%), and IgD (0.5%).
