The Use of Gamma Interval Functions in Fundamental Engineering Problems
The newly proposed Gamma Interval Function is treated in detail in this work for the first time. The function may be applied to all fundamental engineering problems where multiple solutions exist over the whole domain of interest.

Specific Heat vs Field of LiFe1-xCuxAs
LiFeAs is one of the new class of iron superconductors with a bulk onset Tc in the 15-17 K range. We report on the specific heat characterization of single crystal material prepared from self-flux growth techniques with significantly improved properties,

This work identified serum proteins associated with pancreatic epithelial neoplasms (PanINs) and early‐stage PDAC. Proteomics screens assessed genetically engineered mice with abundant PanINs, KPC mice (Lox‐STOP‐Lox‐KrasG12D/+ Lox‐STOP‐Lox‐Trp53R172H/+ Pdx1‐Cre) before PDAC development and also early‐stage PDAC patients (n = 31), compared to benign ...

Euler and the multiplication formula for the Gamma Function
We show that an apparently overlooked result of Euler from \cite{E421} is essentially equivalent to the general multiplication formula for the $ $-function that was proven by Gauss in \cite{Ga28}.

Aldehyde dehydrogenase 1A1 (ALDH1A1) is a cancer stem cell marker in several malignancies. We established a novel epithelial cell line from rectal adenocarcinoma with unique overexpression of this enzyme. Genetic attenuation of ALDH1A1 led to increased invasive capacity and metastatic potential, the inhibition of proliferation activity, and ultimately ...

Dimethyl fumarate (DMF) reduces growth of HPV‐positive cervical cancer spheroids and induces ferroptosis in cervical cancer cells via blocking SLC7A11/Glutathione (GSH) axis. Combination of subcytotoxic doses of DMF and cisplatin (CDDP) further suppresses spheroid growth and drives cell death in 2D culture models.

Gene expression profiling in cells with enhanced gamma-secretase activity.
BackgroundProcessing by gamma-secretase of many type-I membrane protein substrates triggers signaling cascades by releasing intracellular domains (ICDs) that, following nuclear translocation, modulate the transcription of different genes regulating a ...

Shifted phase of EEG cross-frequency coupling in individuals with Phelan-McDermid syndrome
Background Phelan-McDermid Syndrome (PMS) is a rare condition caused by deletion or mutation of the SHANK3 gene. Individuals with PMS frequently present with intellectual disability, autism spectrum disorder, and other neurodevelopmental challenges ...
