CEA, CYFRA 21-1, NSE, and ProGRP in the diagnosis of lung cancer: a multivariate approach [PDF]
We retrospectively studied the single and combined diagnostic value of carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA), cytokeratin fragment 19 (CYFRA 21-1), neuron specific enolase (NSE) and pro-gastrin-releasing peptide (ProGRP), which were routinely analysed in ...

Unusual metachronous lung adenocarcinomas harboring EGFR L858R/T790M mutations: A case report
Multiple primary lung cancer (MPLC) is defined as two or more primary lung cancers occurring in the same patient and can be classified as synchronous multiple primary lung cancer (sMPLC) and metachronous multiple primary lung cancer (mMPLC).

Multiple primary malignant tumours of lung and colorectal adenocarcinoma: A case report
Multiple primary malignant tumors of lung and colorectal incidence were extremely rare and in most cases, diagnosed incidentally. Due to its rarity, most physicians consider pulmonary lesions found in patients with a history of colorectal cancer as lung ...

Organoids in pediatric cancer research
Organoid technology has revolutionized cancer research, yet its application in pediatric oncology remains limited. Recent advances have enabled the development of pediatric tumor organoids, offering new insights into disease biology, treatment response, and interactions with the tumor microenvironment.

Gli1 mediates lung cancer cell proliferation and sonic hedgehog-dependent mesenchymal cell activation. [PDF]
Non-Small-Cell-Lung-Cancer (NSCLC) represents approximately 85% of all lung cancers and remains poorly understood. While signaling pathways operative during organ development, including Sonic Hedgehog (Shh) and associated Gli transcription factors (Gli1 ...

An epithelial GPR35 isoform supports tumor‐associated transcriptional and metabolic phenotypes
GPR35 generates two functionally distinct isoforms with previously unresolved roles. GPR35‐short mediates immune‐cell chemotaxis, while GPR35‐long is enriched in colorectal cancer epithelium, where it supports increased metabolism, proliferation, and tumor‐associated transcriptional programs.
