In lymphoid organs, antigen recognition and B cell receptor signaling rely on integrins and the cytoskeleton. Integrins act as mechanoreceptors, couple B cell receptor activation to cytoskeletal remodeling, and support immune synapse formation as well as antigen extraction.

Existence and multiplicity of solutions for nonhomogeneous Klein-Gordon-Maxwell equations
This article concerns the nonhomogeneous Klein-Gordon-Maxwell equation $$\displaylines{ -\Delta u+u-(2\omega +\phi)\phi u=|u|^{p-1}u +h(x), \quad\text{in }\mathbb{R}^3,\cr \Delta \phi=(\omega +\phi)u^2,\quad\text{in }\mathbb{R}^3, }$$ where ...

A greatest common divisor and a least common multiple of solutions of a linear matrix equation [PDF]
We describe the explicit form of a left greatest common divisor and a least common multiple of solutions of a solvable linear matrix equation over a commutative elementary divisor domain. We prove that these left greatest common divisor and least common multiple are also solutions of the same equation.

Social context prevents heat hormetic effects against mutagens during fish development
This study shows that sublethal heat stress protects fish embryos against ultraviolet radiation, a concept known as ‘hormesis’. However, chemical stress transmission between fish embryos negates this protective effect. By providing evidence for the mechanistic molecular basis of heat stress hormesis and interindividual stress communication, this study ...

Multiple solutions for a discrete anisotropic (p_1(k),p_2(k))-Laplacian equations
This article concerns the existence and multiplicity solutions for a discrete Dirichlet Laplacian problems. Our technical approach is based on variational methods.

miRNA‐29 regulates epidermal and mesenchymal functions in skin repair
miRNA‐29 inhibits cell‐to‐cell and cell‐to‐matrix adhesion by silencing mRNA targets. Adhesion is controlled by complex interactions between many types of molecules coded by mRNAs. This is crucial for keeping together the layers of the skin and for regenerating the skin after wounding.
