(ANTI)COMMUTATIVE ALGEBRAS WITH A MULTIPLICATIVE BASIS
Bulletin of the Australian Mathematical Society, 2014AbstractA basis ${\mathcal{B}}=\{u_{i}\}_{i\in I}$ of a commutative or anticommutative algebra $\mathfrak{C},$ over an arbitrary base field $\mathbb{F}$, is called multiplicative if for any $i,j\in I$ we have that $u_{i}u_{j}\in \mathbb{F}u_{k}$ for some $k\in I$.

Molecular basis of clonal evolution in multiple myeloma
International Journal of Hematology, 2020The treatment outcome of multiple myeloma (MM) is worse than expected from the average numbers of non-synonymous mutations, which are roughly correlated with the prognosis of cancer patients. The refractoriness of MM may be ascribed to the complex genomic architecture and clonal behavior of the disease.

Multiple-scattering theory with a truncated basis set
Physical Review B, 1992Multiple-scattering theory (MST) is an extremely efficient technique for calculating the electronic structure of an assembly of atoms. The wave function in MST is expanded in terms of spherical waves centered on each atom and indexed by their orbital and azimuthal quantum numbers, l and m.

The neuropathological basis of clinical progression in multiple sclerosis
Acta Neuropathologica, 2011Multiple sclerosis is the major inflammatory condition affecting the central nervous system (CNS) and is characterised by disseminated focal immune-mediated demyelination. Demyelination is accompanied by variable axonal damage and loss and reactive gliosis.

Multiplication-free radial basis function network
Proceedings of 1995 American Control Conference - ACC'95, 1996For the purpose of adaptive function approximation, a new radial basis function network is proposed which is nonlinear in its parameters. The goal is to reduce significantly the computational effort for a serial processor, by avoiding multiplication in both the evaluation of the function model and the computation of the parameter adaptation.

Bit-Sliced Binary Normal Basis Multiplication
2011 IEEE 20th Symposium on Computer Arithmetic, 2011The performance of many cryptographic primitives is reliant on efficient algorithms and implementation techniques for arithmetic in binary fields. While dedicated hardware support for said arithmetic is an emerging trend, the study of software-only implementation techniques remains important for legacy or non-equipped processors.

Molecular basis for multiple forms of LDH‐X
Journal of Experimental Zoology, 1973AbstractThe guinea pig has three molecular species of LDH‐X which are inhibited by antiserum directed against the C subunit. Only two of these are selectively inhibited by anti‐A polypeptide antiserum. Heterotetramers produced by in vitro dissociation and recombination of isozymes and containing B‐C subunit combinations are selectively inhibited only ...

Molecular Genetic and Epigenetic Basis of Multiple Sclerosis
2017Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is a chronic immune-mediated disease of spinal cord and brain. The initial event in MS occurs when activated CD4+ T cells in periphery exacerbates immune responses by stimulating immune cells such as B cells, CD8+ cells, mast cells, granulocytes and monocytes.
