Some new efficient multipoint iterative methods for solving nonlinear systems of equations [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Computer Mathematics, 2014
It is attempted to put forward a new multipoint iterative method of sixth-order convergence for approximating solutions of nonlinear systems of equations. It requires the evaluation of two vector-function and two Jacobian matrices per iteration. Furthermore, we use it as a predictor to derive a general multipoint method.

Another Simple Way of Deriving Several Iterative Functions to Solve Nonlinear Equations [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Applied Mathematics, 2012
We present another simple way of deriving several iterative methods for solving nonlinear equations numerically. The presented approach of deriving these methods is based on exponentially fitted osculating straight line.

Task-based image quality and dosimetric validation of HyperSight CBCT for adaptive radiotherapy. [PDF]

open access: yesJ Appl Clin Med Phys
Abstract Background Cone‐beam computed tomography (CBCT) is increasingly used in adaptive radiotherapy (ART), yet the dosimetric accuracy and image quality of advanced CBCT imaging platforms—such as Halcyon HyperSight 4.0 (HH), which combines an upgraded detector panel with advanced iterative reconstruction, scatter‐correction, and metal‐artifact ...

Performance of a New Sixth-Order Class of Iterative Schemes for Solving Non-Linear Systems of Equations

open access: yesMathematics, 2023
This manuscript is focused on a new parametric class of multi-step iterative procedures to find the solutions of systems of nonlinear equations. Starting from Ostrowski’s scheme, the class is constructed by adding a Newton step with a Jacobian matrix ...

Two Iterative Methods with Memory Constructed by the Method of Inverse Interpolation and Their Dynamics

open access: yesMathematics, 2020
In this paper, we obtain two iterative methods with memory by using inverse interpolation. Firstly, using three function evaluations, we present a two-step iterative method with memory, which has the convergence order 4.5616.

New efficient bi-parametric families of iterative methods with engineering applications and their basins of attraction

open access: yesResults in Control and Optimization, 2023
We present in this paper two new families of bi-parametric multipoint higher order iterative methods of optimal order for determining simple roots of the nonlinear equation Ω(s)=0.

An Optimal Thirty-Second-Order Iterative Method for Solving Nonlinear Equations and a Conjecture [PDF]

open access: yes, 2022
Many multipoint iterative methods without memory for solving non-linear equations in one variable are found in the literature. In particular, there are methods that provide fourth-order, eighth-order or sixteenth-order convergence using only ...

Extended Kung–Traub Methods for Solving Equations with Applications

open access: yesMathematics, 2021
Kung and Traub (1974) proposed an iterative method for solving equations defined on the real line. The convergence order four was shown using Taylor expansions, requiring the existence of the fifth derivative not in this method. However, these hypotheses
