Harnessing Thin‐Film Solid‐State Electrolytes: Enabling Breakthroughs in All‐Solid‐State Batteries
Schematic illustration highlighting the advantages of transitioning from traditional thick solid‐state electrolytes (SSEs) to thin‐film SSEs. Thinning the electrolyte enables higher ionic conductivity, reduced interfacial polarization, improved flexibility, compact electrode contact, and enhanced energy density, offering a promising pathway toward high‐

Herein, a biomimetic, anisotropic, robust wood‐derived 3D conductive Bio‐C@YB2C2 framework was synthesized by in situ boron/carbon thermal reduction reaction on the carbonized wood template. The as‐obtained Bio‐C@YB2C2 composites accurately inherit the specific microstructure of natural wood, providing pathways for terahertz wave dissipation.

In reservoir simulations, one of the biggest challenges is solving large modelswith complex geological properties. Because reservoirs can be several kilome-ters long, and still be geologically inhomogeneous over centimeters, the com-putational power required to solve a full set of mass balance equations can beimmense.
