Miniature multispectral camera and its application in machine vision

2016 IEEE International Conference on Information and Automation (ICIA), 2016
This paper presents a miniature multispectral camera and its application in machine vision. Differ to conventional camera, the multispectral camera can capture image with high spectral resolution. First, the design of the multispectral camera is introduced. It consists of a Digital Micro-mirror Device (DMD) sandwiched by two optic gratings.

Laser backlight for multispectral camera

Proceedings of the 33th All-Russian Youth Exhibition of Innovations - InnoExh '22/1, 2022
A laser backlight device has been developed for the operation of a multispectral camera at night. Methods of laser backlight were considered. The simplest backlight method that can be used for multispectral cameras is chosen. Its simplicity is calculated in the number of accepted components.

Evaluation of multispectral plenoptic camera

SPIE Proceedings, 2013
Plenoptic cameras enable capture of a 4D lightfield, allowing digital refocusing and depth estimation from data captured with a compact portable camera. Whereas most of the work on plenoptic camera design has been based a simplistic geometric-optics-based characterization of the optical path only, little work has been done of optimizing end-to-end ...

Multispectral terahertz camera

2009 International Conference on Electromagnetics in Advanced Applications, 2009
We describe a broadband terahertz camera based on a modular 64-element linear array of superconducting hot-spot microbolometers. Unlike many superconducting sensor arrays, the readout for this array is performed entirely by uncooled electronics; no SQUIDs or cryogenic HEMTs are employed.

Low-Cost Synchronization for Multispectral Cameras

2015 12th International Conference on Ubiquitous Robots and Ambient Intelligence (URAI), 2015
In this paper, we introduce a low-cost multicamera synchronization approach. Our system is low-cost to make, easy to handle and convenient to use. Proposed system can be employed in single- and multi- spectral various cameras, and also used in any devices which support the external trigger.

Spectral Signature Multiplexing in Multispectral Camera Communication

2022 13th International Symposium on Communication Systems, Networks and Digital Signal Processing (CSNDSP), 2022
Optical camera communication (OCC) is a technology foreseen to have a fundamental role in future communication applications due to the ubiquity of the cameras embedded in most consumer electronic devices and their increasing capabilities (high resolution, scanning frequency, etcetera).

On field radiometric calibration for multispectral cameras

2017 IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Automation (ICRA), 2017
Perception systems for outdoor robotics have to deal with varying environmental conditions. Variations in illumination in particular, are currently the biggest challenge for vision-based perception. In this paper we present an approach for radiometric characterization of multispectral cameras.

Methods for spectral characterization of multispectral cameras

SPIE Proceedings, 2011
High fidelity color image acquisition requires an accurate characterization of the camera's spectral sensitivity curves to perform color calibration or spectral estimation. Several methods have been proposed to perform this task; these include characterizations via test charts, narrowband filters and methods utilizing a monochromator.
