Multispectral imaging with a modified DSLR camera
2016 International Symposium on Electronics and Smart Devices (ISESD), 2016This paper describes a multispectral imaging system using a Canon EOS 1000D camera, photographic lenses, and a dispersive element. The system consists of three subsystems: a PVC holder to arrange the optical devices that can be connected to the camera, an acrylic frame to support the position of the PVC holder, and expectation maximization algorithm to

Compact CMOS multispectral/polarimetric camera
SPIE Proceedings, 2006A novel, compact visible multispectral, polarimetric camera is under development. The prototype is capable of megapixel imaging with sixteen wavebands and three polarimetric images. The entire system encompasses a volume less than 125mm x 100mm x 75mm.

Gain control strategy for multispectral camera
SPIE Proceedings, 2011Multispectral camera is the principal payload in China's first hazards mitigation satellite, which is designed for hazards monitoring, assessment, and management. However, the camera's dynamic range of scenery is not as wide as expected and partly influences imaging quality on-orbit.

An efficient compression method for one-shot multispectral camera
2012 Picture Coding Symposium, 2012Many RGB digital cameras use a Bayer color filter array. In these cameras a full-resolution image is obtained from a mosaicked image by interpolation, and then the full resolution image is encoded. Similarly, mosaicked color filter arrays and interpolation methods for multispectral images have been proposed in recent years.

MADCam: The multispectral active decomposition camera
2001A real-time spectral decomposition of streaming three-band image data is obtained by applying linear transformations. The Principal Components (PC), the Maximum Autocorrelation Factors (MAF), and the Maximum Noise Fraction (MNF) transforms are applied. In the presented case study the PC transform appears to provide the best result for separating signal
