Drought duration affects ant–plant interactions: extrafloral nectar quality initially increases and subsequently declines, and ant interaction patterns closely track these nectar dynamics. Abstract Mutualistic plants use non‐structural sugar (NSC) to produce carbon‐based resources to reward partners.

A Comparison of CP-OFDM, PCC-OFDM and UFMC for 5G Uplink Communications
Polynomial-cancellation-coded orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (PCC-OFDM) is a form of OFDM that has waveforms which are very well localized in both the time and frequency domains and so it is ideally suited for use in the 5G network.

A Framework for One-Bit and Constant-Envelope Precoding Over Multiuser Massive MISO Channels [PDF]
Consider the following problem: A multi-antenna base station (BS) sends multiple symbol streams to multiple single-antenna users via precoding. However, unlike conventional multiuser precoding, the transmitted signals are subjected to binary, unit ...

Amacrine cell inputs to OFF midget ganglion cells in macaque retina
Abstract figure legend The goal of this study was to explain the findings from physiological studies that OFF midget ganglion cells had larger receptive field centers than expected from their dendritic field diameters. First, we confirmed that OFF mRGCs (OFF MGC) receive input from diffuse bipolar cells (DB) as well as OFF midget bipolar cells (FMB ...
