A MULTIVARIATE ANALYSIS OF FAMILY DATA
American Journal of Epidemiology, 1981The authors describe the application of multivariate analysis to the problem of estimating intra-family correlations and testing them for statistical significance. This is illustrated by a re-analysis of survey data collected by Miall and Oldham (Clin Sci 1958;17:459-87) on the familial aggregation of blood pressure.

Multivariate Data Analysis (Chemometrics)
2014Chemometrics plays a key role in PAT strategies. It is essential in understanding and diagnosing real-time processes, and keeping them under multivariate statistical control. This chapter will cover design of experiments, exploratory analysis, quantitative predictive modelling, classification, multivariate process monitoring and multi-block and multi ...

In our hypotheses, we stated that the various dimensions of internationalisation are expected to be a function of firm size, international experience of the founders, external fmance, technology intensity, innovativeness, the extent to which products are customised and the costs of commercialisation.

Multivariate data analysis for outcome studies
American Journal of Community Psychology, 1981The use of multivariate statistical techniques for analyzing the complex data often gathered in outcome studies is discussed. The multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA) is suggested for multiple group studies common to outcome studies. This technique can be utilized for a large number of specific research designs whenever multiple outcome measures ...

Multivariate Process Analysis With Lattice Data
Technometrics, 1996Modern dimensional inspection techniques often produce more measurements per part than parts measured within reasonable timeframes. This poses a problem for multivariate process monitoring and capability analysis: The sample covariance matrix is not positive definite, hence not full rank and not invertible.
