Pestalotia leprogena on leaves of Musa spp. in Jamaica
Transactions of the British Mycological Society, 1963In Jamaica, large fawn-coloured lesions are common on leaves of Musa balbisiana and ‘Bluggoe’ plantain, but rare on the Lacatan, Robusta and Gros Michel banana varieties. Pestalotia leprogena is consistently associated with the disease and readily isolated from young lesions.
