Mutual coupling reduction between microstrip patch antennas

Mutual coupling reduction in metamaterial antenna for terahertz application
Applied Physics A, 2019We investigate in this work an effective approach to reduce mutual coupling between two metamaterial antennas operating at the THz frequency band by incorporating a metasurface designed using an electric inductive capacitive resonator. The metasurface is designed to provide a band stop functionality in the operating bandwidth of the antenna.

2015This paper deals with the problem of mutual coupling in circular and elliptical antenna arrays. Input impedance method is used to compensate the Mutual coupling among the array elements. Mutual Coupling Reduction of Rotationally Symmetric Multiport Antennas
IEEE Transactions on Antennas and Propagation, 2018A systematic method for reducing the mutual coupling of a rotationally symmetric multiport antenna system is proposed. A compact design example for a four-port antenna with low mutual coupling across two frequency bands centered around 2.4 and 5.8 GHz is provided.

Mutual Coupling Reduction Between Flexible MIMO Antennas
2014In this chapter, a novel ยต-negative (MNG) metamaterial structure is proposed to reduce mutual coupling between two printed monopole antennas operating at 2.45 GHz. The unit cell consists of two split ring resonator (SRR) structures bridged at the centre, which mimics a cascaded filter; hence, termed as Bridged Split Ring Resonators (BSRRs).
