Fruit respiration: putting alternative pathways into perspective

open access: yesNew Phytologist, Volume 250, Issue 1, Page 54-73, April 2026.
Summary Over the past century, research has significantly advanced our understanding of fruit respiration, from (eco)physiological processes to molecular mechanisms. This review focuses on the functional relevance and regulatory roles of mitochondrial alternative respiratory pathways (ARPs) during fruit growth and ripening.

PROTAC‑Mediated HMGCR Depletion Reprograms Lipid Metabolism in Breast Cancer to Potentiate Photoimmunotherapy via Ferroptosis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 13, 3 March 2026.
This work introduces a study that identifies HMGCR as a novel target in TNBC and develops a light‐gated PROTAC nanomedicine. Upon irradiation, this agent selectively degrades HMGCR, reprogramming lipid metabolism to induce ferroptosis and potent antitumor immunity, thereby significantly enhancing photoimmunotherapy efficacy.

Mva-reduksjon på reparasjoner

open access: yes, 2017

Prognostic Significance of MSI and EBV Positivity in PD‐L1 Positive Gastric Cancer: A Systematic Review and Meta‐Analysis

open access: yesCancer Medicine, Volume 15, Issue 3, March 2026.
ABSTRACT Background and Aims Microsatellite instability (MSI), programmed death‐ligand 1 (PD‐L1) expression, and Epstein–Barr virus (EBV) positivity are emerging biomarkers in gastric cancer prognosis and treatment selection, particularly in immunotherapy. This review evaluates their prognostic significance through a systematic review and meta‐analysis.

An Ad26‐MVA‐BN‐based therapeutic vaccine targeting HPV16 and HPV18 related disease is immunogenic in preclinical models and in women with persistent HPV infections

open access: yesClinical &Translational Immunology, Volume 15, Issue 3, 2026.
Immunisation with adenovirus (Ad) vectors followed by Modified Vaccinia Virus Ankara—strain Bavarian Nordic (MVA‐BN) vectors expressing HPV16 and HPV18 engineered antigens induced antigen‐specific polyfunctional T cells in mice, rhesus macaques and persistent HPV16/HPV18 infected human females vaccines (n = 5). These data showed the promise of the Ad26‐

Predictors of Treatment Outcome in an Early Intervention Eating Disorder Sample

open access: yesInternational Journal of Eating Disorders, Volume 59, Issue 3, Page 574-580, March 2026.
ABSTRACT Objective To examine baseline predictors of treatment completion and clinical outcomes in 16 to 25‐year‐olds referred for early intervention for a recent‐onset eating disorder (ED). Method Participants (n = 228; 93% female, 63% White British) were drawn from the FREED‐Up study, which evaluated First episode Rapid Early intervention for EDs ...

Search for $\text{H}\to \text{b}\bar{\text{b}}$ in association with single top quarks as a test of Higgs couplings

open access: yes, 2014
The associated production of Higgs boson and single top quark is of particular interest since it is senstive to the relative sign of the Higgs boson coupling to gauge bosons and the Yukawa coupling $y$ to fermions. The presented analysis is setting upper

Assessment of Voltage Unbalance and Power Losses in Distribution Network Integrated With PVs and EV Charging Stations

open access: yesEnergy Science &Engineering, Volume 14, Issue 3, Page 1131-1147, March 2026.
ABSTRACT Unequal load distribution in three‐phase power distribution networks leads to voltage unbalance and decreased network efficiency. Integration of photovoltaics (PVs) and electric vehicle charging stations (EVCSs) into such networks is a challenging task as their penetration affects the power quality of the system.
