Heuristic Algorithms for the Telegram Scheduling on MVB

2020 28th Signal Processing and Communications Applications Conference (SIU), 2020
Modern rail-vehicles exchange a large amount of periodic data over in-vehicle communication buses such as the multifunction vehicle bus (MVB). This paper proposes several heuristic algorithms for the schedule computation on MVB and performs a comprehensive comparison of these algorithms to optimal schedules from an integer programming (ILP) formulation.

Design and implementation of MVB protocol analyzer

2010 8th World Congress on Intelligent Control and Automation, 2010
The Train Communication Network (TCN) is a high-performance local area network for information transfer of modern train control, state detection, fault diagnosis and passenger service and so on. The Multifunction Vehicle Bus (MVB) is a critical part of the TCN and the design of the MVB's protocol analysis tool plays a very important function. Supported

Model based formal design for MVB system

2017 IEEE 16th International Conference on Cognitive Informatics & Cognitive Computing (ICCI*CC), 2017
Electronic circuits design is extremely important in information processing or communication systems. Classical design method of electronic circuit is manual programming. The cost of design and test is usually expensive, especially for large scale or complicated circuits. In this paper, hardware circuit is designed by formal method.

Cell-Free Reconstitution of Multivesicular Body (MVB) Cargo Sorting

2014
The signaling activity of cell surface localized membrane proteins occurs primarily while these proteins are located on the plasma membrane but is, in some cases, not terminated until the proteins are degraded. Following internalization and movement through the endocytic pathway en route to lysosomes, membrane proteins transit a late endosomal ...

Design and implementation of embedded MVB-ethernet interface

Proceedings of the 2011 ACM Symposium on Research in Applied Computation, 2011
This paper discusses about the implementation of an embedded bus interface between a multifunction vehicle bus (MVB) and Ethernet. The proposed MVB-Ethernet interface consists of the MVB board and the embedded ARM board with an Ethernet port. The embedded ARM board consists of ARM processor, Linux operating system, MVB driver, and application program ...

Autophagic degradation of MVBs in LSECs promotes Aldosterone induced-HSCs activation

Hepatology International, 2023
The important role of extracellular vesicles (EVs) in liver fibrosis has been confirmed. However, EVs derived from liver sinusoidal endothelial cells (LSECs) in the activation of hepatic stellate cells (HSCs) and liver fibrosis is still unclear. Our previous work demonstrated that Aldosterone (Aldo) may have the potential to regulate EVs from LSECs via

The Multifunction Vehicle Bus (MVB)

Proceedings 1995 IEEE International Workshop on Factory Communication Systems. WFCS'95, 2002
A deterministic and robust fieldbus communication solution is necessary for safety-sensitive systems which must operate in harsh and disturbed environments, for example inside railway vehicles, and where instant response through very low latency time is required. The Multifunction Vehicle Bus (MVB) is a fieldbus which has been specifically designed for

A novel SoC architecture for a MVB slave node

2008 34th Annual Conference of IEEE Industrial Electronics, 2008
The standardization of train communications protocols, train communication network (TCN), has created a need to design new electronic devices which can communicate according to them. Up to date, several solutions have been suggested, but every one needs additional circuits.

Design and Implementation of MVB Controller using SOPC Technology

2007 2nd IEEE Conference on Industrial Electronics and Applications, 2007
A MVB (multifunction vehicle bus) controller using SOPC (system-on-a-programmable-chip) technology is presented in this paper. The SOPC technology, developed by Altera Corporation, consists of a FPGA (field programmable gate array) and a Nios embedded processor.
