Early Mycophenolate Mofetil Combination Therapy as an Effective Approach for Immune‐Related Hepatitis Induced by Immune Checkpoint Inhibitors in Patients With Solid Tumor

open access: yesCancer Medicine, Volume 15, Issue 3, March 2026.
Our study highlights the benefits of early use of mycophenolate mofetil (MMF) for patients with immune‐related hepatitis requiring systemic steroids. This may provide guidance on the appropriate use of MMF in terms of its efficacy and safety. ABSTRACT Background Immune‐related hepatitis (ir‐hepatitis) is an immune‐related adverse event that can be ...

Effects of Inosine-5′-monophosphate Dehydrogenase (IMPDH/GuaB) Inhibitors on Borrelia burgdorferi Growth in Standard and Modified Culture Conditions

open access: yesMicroorganisms
Borrelia burgdorferi’s inosine-5′-monophosphate dehydrogenase (IMPDH, GuaB encoded by the guaB gene) is a potential therapeutic target. GuaB is necessary for B. burgdorferi replication in mammalian hosts but not in standard laboratory culture conditions.

Chemical Constituents of Taxodium mucronatum (Cupressaceae) and Some of Its Endophytic Fungi, and Their In Silico and In Vitro Evaluations as SARS‐CoV‐2 Inhibitors and as Cytotoxic Agents

open access: yesChemistry &Biodiversity, Volume 23, Issue 3, March 2026.
Abietanes, pimaranes and cycloartanes were characterized from different plant tissues of Taxodium mucronatum. Curvularins, mycophenolic acids and ergosterol were isolated from some fungal endophytes. The isolated compounds were in silico and in vitro evaluated as antiviral and cytotoxic agents.

Development of an HPLC method using relative molar sensitivity for the measurement of blood concentrations of nine pharmaceutical compounds

open access: yesJournal of Pharmaceutical Health Care and Sciences
We developed a reliable high-performance liquid chromatographic analysis method using a relative molar sensitivity (RMS) technique that does not require an authentic, identical reference analyte material to quantify blood serum carbamazepine, phenytoin ...
