Myocardial bridging: literature review
A ponte miocárdica é uma anomalia congênita das artérias coronárias em que feixes de miocárdio envolvem um segmento de artéria coronária epicárdica, levando a compressão de um segmento na sístole ventricular, se revertendo na diástole.

Atomically precise metal cluster enzymes for pathological tissue regeneration
Schematic illustration of atomically precise metal cluster enzymes (MCEs) for pathological tissue regeneration. Atomically precise MCEs can modulate biological processes, such as attenuation of inflammatory responses, eradication of bacterial pathogens, regulation of angiogenesis, and promotion of cell development.

Posterolateral Branch of Circumflex Artery: An Extremely Rare Location for Myocardial Bridging
Myocardial bridging is a rare congenital coronary artery abnormality in which the epicardial coronary artery is covered by myocardial muscle tissue at a distance during its course.

Harnessing ferroptosis from multilayer defense networks to nanoplatforms for specific cancer therapy
Nanomaterials target metabolically‐regulated ferroptosis for cancer therapy. Iron‐based or alternative nanoplatforms integrate ferroptosis with chemotherapy, immunotherapy, or radiotherapy. They enable stimulus‐responsive therapies (photothermal, photodynamic, sonodynamic) activated by near‐infrared, light, or ultrasound, achieving potent synergistic ...

Myocardial bridging is a congenital coronary artery anomaly in which the coronary artery has a partly “tunnelled” intramyocardial course. This tunnelling leads to compression of the affected vessel segment during ventricular systole.

Mitochondria‐endoplasmic reticulum contact sites (MERCS) are areas where the mitochondria and endoplasmic reticulum closely interact. In this study, we utilize synthetic organelle glues to artificially engineer MERCS for regulating cardiomyocyte development, through which the immature and chemo‐plasticity issues of undifferentiated cells are addressed.

ABSTRACT Human atrial chambers derive from distinct embryonic anlagens, the original embryonic atria gradually transforming into the so‐called auricles, or atrial appendages. This study quantifies macroscopic variations in pectinate muscle architecture in human atrial appendages and evaluates their visualization using clinical imaging modalities.

Inferior wall myocardial infarction and myocardial bridging of left anterior descending coronary artery in a young patient – case report [PDF]
Introduction: Myocardial bridging is considered a relatively benign condition, but serious complications such as angina pectoris, myocardial infarction, stress cardiomyopathy, ventricular arrhythmia, and sudden cardiac death can still occur.

ABSTRACT Index of microcirculatory resistance (IMR) is a cutting‐edge, wire‐based tool that advances the capability assessment of coronary microvascular function. By utilizing distal coronary pressure and mean transit time under maximal hyperemia, IMR delivers consistent, reproducible insights into the microvasculature's dynamic health.
