PET Imaging of Cardiac Inflammation in Viral Myocarditis Using a DPP4‐Targeted Probe
This study describes a DPP4‐targeted PET probe for imaging myocardial inflammation by selectively targeting activated immune cells. Derived from the clinically approved small‐molecule inhibitor linagliptin, the probe demonstrates favorable biodistribution with specific cardiac uptake in myocarditis.

We have developed two models of myocarditis in mice. The first is produced by infection with Coxsackievirus B3; the second results from immunization with cardiac myosin. Both forms of myocarditis occur in the same genetically predisposed strains. Genetically resistant mice can be rendered susceptible to myocarditis by co-treatment with cytokines IL-1 ...

Expression of Endothelin-1 in the Inflamed Myocardium of an Experimental Autoimmune Myocarditis Rat Model [PDF]
Myocarditis is a potentially lethal inflammatory disease in humans. In this disease, large amounts of cytokines are released from inflammatory cells, which then stimulate endothelial cells to secrete endothelin-1 (ET-1).

Influenza vaccination and myocarditis among patients receiving immune checkpoint inhibitors
Background Influenza vaccination (FV) is recommended for patients with cancer. Recent data suggested that the administration of the FV was associated with an increase in immune-related adverse events (irAEs) among patients on immune checkpoint inhibitors

Rhinovirus-associated dilated cardiomyopathy
Rhinovirus is the main cause of the common cold. There is little to no published literature of rhinoviral associated myocarditis. We report a rare case of rhinovirus infection in a patient with myocarditis leading to dilated cardiomyopathy.

Differences between familial and sporadic dilated cardiomyopathy: ESC EORP Cardiomyopathy & Myocarditis registry [PDF]
Aims: Dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM) is a complex disease where genetics interplay with extrinsic factors. This study aims to compare the phenotype, management, and outcome of familial DCM (FDCM) and non-familial (sporadic) DCM (SDCM) across Europe ...

By leveraging this homodimerization mechanism, molecular glues were rationally designed to induce dysfunctional 3A dimerization, thereby restoring antiviral RNAi. The optimal molecular glue, VTP‐32, demonstrated potent and pan‐enterovirus (groups A, B, D) antiviral effects.

Advances in Cancer Immunotherapy for Solid Tumors
Cancer immunotherapy for solid tumors is rapidly evolving beyond classical checkpoint blockade toward more precise strategies. Emerging checkpoint targets, bispecific antibodies, antibody–drug conjugate combinations, personalized vaccines, cellular therapies, and engineered cytokines are expanding therapeutic possibilities, while biomarker‐guided ...
