Measuring impact of digital conservation campaigns using culturomics
Conservation Science and Practice, Volume 7, Issue 11, November 2025.Conservation campaigns increasingly use digital media to shape attitudes and engagement, but measuring their impact remains challenging. We used conservation culturomics and a synthetic control approach to evaluate Wikipedia engagement with topics from two digital campaigns, finding increased engagement for locally targeted topics in regional languages.
