Syzygium cumini Linn, commonly known as Jamun or Indian blackberry, is a medicinally important plant recognized for its wide range of therapeutic properties. Qualitative phytochemical analysis revealed the presence of flavonoids, phenolic compounds, tannins, glycosides, saponins, and alkaloids, indicating a rich phytochemical profile.
