Evaluation and optimization of an eDNA metabarcoding assay for detection of freshwater myxozoan communities

open access: yesEnvironmental DNA, Volume 5, Issue 2, Page 312-325, March 2023., 2023
We have developed a new method for determining the myxozoan biodiversity from freshwater eDNA samples. Our new approach is highly sensitive and allows researchers not only to study the biodiversity of myxozoan parasites, but also to monitor myxozoan pathogens that threaten economically important fish in aquaculture. Abstract The environmental DNA (eDNA)
