Predominant Expression of Hybrid N-Glycans Has Distinct Cellular Roles Relative to Complex and Oligomannose N-Glycans [PDF]
Glycosylation modulates growth, maintenance, and stress signaling processes. Consequently, altered N-glycosylation is associated with reduced fitness and disease. Therefore, expanding our understanding of N-glycans in altering biological processes is of utmost interest.

PDMS samples were covalently coated with mucin glycoproteins and then treated with either plasma activated water (PAW) or saline (PAS) as a means of disinfection. The samples could be successfully sterilized without compromising the structural integrity or functionality of those coatings.

Mutations in four glycosyl hydrolases reveal a highly coordinated pathway for rhodopsin biosynthesis and N-glycan trimming in Drosophila melanogaster. [PDF]
As newly synthesized glycoproteins move through the secretory pathway, the asparagine-linked glycan (N-glycan) undergoes extensive modifications involving the sequential removal and addition of sugar residues.

Applications and continued evolution of glycan imaging mass spectrometry.
Glycosylation is an important posttranslational modifier of proteins and lipid conjugates critical for the stability and function of these macromolecules. Particularly important are N-linked glycans attached to asparagine residues in proteins.

Functions of cell surface galectin-glycoprotein lattices [PDF]
Programmed remodeling of cell surface glycans by the sequential action of specific glycosyltransferases can control biological processes by generating or masking ligands for endogenous lectins. Galectins, a family of animal lectins with affinity for beta-

This study describes a T cell surface engineering strategy that integrates polymer materials with tumor immunology, aiming to achieve broad‐spectrum anti‐tumor applications of glycopolymer‐engineered T (G‐T) cells via non‐genetic modification. Glycopolymer engineering generally modulates immune‐tumor crosstalk through specific cell‐cell interactions ...
