N2O emission from grass-clover swards is largely unaffected by recently fixed N2 [PDF]
The contribution of biologically fixed dinitrogen (N2) to the nitrous oxide (N2O) production in grasslands is unknown. To assess the contribution of recently fixed N2 as a source of N2O and the transfer of fixed N from clover to companion grass, mixtures

This work systematically reviews the key factors influencing the performance of low‐temperature NH3‐SCR. The mechanism and challenges of defect engineering strategies, such as oxygen vacancies, heteroatom doping, crystal facet exposure, and surface reconstruction, in controlling both activity and selectivity were analyzed.

Global Fjords as Minor Sources of Nitrous Oxide to the Atmosphere
We report high‐resolution observations of N2O sea‐air fluxes at six fjords spanning arctic, subarctic, and temperate climates. Icelandic and Swedish fjords were sources of N2O at 97.6 ± 10.5 and 19.9 ± 19.3 μg N2O m−2 day−1, respectively.

A Crystalline Ylide‐Stabilized Stibenium Cation
The isolation of a stibenium cation stabilized by two thiophosphinoyl‐tethered ylide groups is reported. The cation is accessible via salt metathesis of the metalated ylide with SbCl3 and features CSb single bonds, with lone pairs remaining localized at the ylidic carbon atoms.

Masked Silylenes: Controlled Generation and Reactivity Under Thermal and Equilibrium Conditions
This Review provides an overview of masked silylenes as bench‐stable precursors that release silylenes (R2Si:) under thermal activation or reversible equilibria. Precursor preparation, generation pathways, and characteristic reactivity are summarized, including trapping chemistry, reversible interconversions, insertion‐type processes, and small ...

Ultra‐lean H2 micro‐combustor performance is boosted through regulated O2 enrichment and inlet preheating. A 16‐case Taguchi study (ϕ = 0.3) shows: controlled enrichment and heating increase radiative output and efficiency, but excessive O2/temperature causes flashback.

Greenhouse gas emissions from soils under organic management [PDF]
This report was presented at the UK Organic Research 2002 Conference. Land emissions of N2O, CO2 and NH3 have been subject to little study under organic systems, yet form important aspects of sustainability of such systems.
