Two-dimensional magnetohydrodynamic turbulence in the small magnetic Prandtl number limit
In this paper we introduce a new method for computations of two-dimensional magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) turbulence at low magnetic Prandtl number $\Pra=\nu/\eta$.

Poynting flux of MHD modes in magnetic solar vortex tubes [PDF]
Magnetic flux tubes in the presence of background rotational flows, known as solar vortex tubes, are abundant throughout the solar atmosphere and may act as conduits for MHD waves to transport magnetic energy to the upper solar atmosphere.

Nano magnetic vortex wall guide
A concept of nano magnetic vortex wall guide is introduced. Two architectures are proposed. The first one is properly designed superlattices while the other one is bilayer nanostrips. The concept is verified by micromagnetic simulations.

This study introduces a novel exploration of the synergistic effects of a magnetic field, viscous dissipation, and Newtonian heating on the unsteady flow of Cross fluid between double‐stretching rotating disks. By addressing the complex interactions between these factors, particularly under unsteady flow conditions, this work extends beyond traditional

Granular vortex spin-torque nano oscillator for reservoir computing
In this paper, we investigate the granularity in the free layer of the magnetic tunnel junctions (MTJ) and its potential to function as a reservoir for reservoir computing where grains act as oscillatory neurons while the device is in the vortex state ...

This research presents a novel approach by combining magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) flow with ohmic heating to investigate the conjugate mixed convective transport of ferrofluid in a discretely heated, smooth/wavy‐walled, square‐shaped porous compartment featuring a clockwise spinning cylindrical body positioned at various locations.

Efficient energy transport in complex fluids is essential for the optimal design of modern thermal and bio‐energy systems. In this study, the bioconvective flow and heat transfer characteristics of a two‐dimensional, incompressible magnetized micropolar fluid of second‐grade nature over a porous curved stretching surface are investigated.

Electric vortex in MHD flow [PDF]
An electric vortex is the circulation of electron space charge about a magnetic field line that is transported by ion momentum. In cold, or low {beta} flow the vortex diameter is the minimum length scale of charge neutrality.

The investigation focuses on the natural convection of magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) double‐diffusive nanoencapsulated phase change material (NEPCM) in an annulus composed of square and concentric horizontal circular cylinders. The right, upper, and bottom walls of the outer square cylinder are cooled, while the inner circular cylinder is heated. The NEPCM
